Federer/Default, 2013. 34″x 48″ Oil & lazertran paper on canvas.
For this piece I placed tennis diagrams about Federer’s tennis game on top of a painting of the Mac desktop default image to present a dialog between physical and virtual space. The diagrams are visualizations of points between specific players contained in the architecture of a tennis court. By placing the diagrams on top of a painting of the default screensaver, I wanted to create an analogy between maneuvering and workflow of the Mac Osx operating system and movement on a tennis court.
